Lead Pastor Kevin & Sarah Zaun

Kevin and Sarah Zaun came to Fargo in 2003 after they felt God calling them to plant Heartland Community Church. They came with their four children with a dream to start this ministry. They dreamed of a church that people could call home.  A place here people could feel like they're part of a "family." Heartland is a place to be loved and accepted no matter what you have done or where you have been. 

They are open about how they have overcome some of their own struggles, and share how Christ has healed them throughout their lives. They love chatting with new people over a nice cup of coffee! Sarah is also the nurse here at Heartland.
Associate Pastor Ethan & Emma Zaun

Ethan and Emma Zaun have been on staff since 2012, coming on part time initially and moving into full time in October 2017. He is an Associate Pastor with his emphasis on relationships and team building. They are passionate about discipleship and seeing leaders grown.
Administrative Pastor Lora & Al Schoepp

Lora came on staff in 2010 as the church secretary and felt a call on her life to become a Pastor. Reaching this goal in 2016 she became the Administrative Pastor.
Al and Lora have 8 children and they have a great love for children to know the Lord and to see them empowered to do great things for God even when they are young. Most Sundays, you will find them teaching in the preschool room

 Arts Pastor Cody & Ilsa Qualley

Cody came on staff full-time in March 2019. Cody is the Worship Administrator and oversees the creative direction of Heartland. Cody is passionate helping people find and use their creative gifts. Cody and Ilsa also assist Kaity with the Youth ministry.
Children's Director Dawn & David Negron

Dawn Negron is our Children's Ministry Coordinator. Every  week she brings her joy and energy as she works alongside other volunteers. She wants the children to experience God and learn how to live for him each day. God's word is central to the children's ministry here at Heartland.  If  you feel led to help this ministry in any way, or have questions about about any area of children's ministry, let Dawn know!

Kaity came on staff part-time on September 1st, 2019. She has been a leader in the Heartland Youth for many years and continues to serve as she feels God's calling into youth ministry.
